For  those who trade DAX.

 

Todays low 9670 is critical for the next bull move into 9900 possible top.

 

Try and long DAX below 9700 with a 9600 stop for a 9900 take profit.

 

I believe we need another move upwards before February riskoff month.

Febraury is one of the most negetive months of the year since 1928.

We might get a blow off top after FOMC meeting.

 

From Feb, we should be stuck in a 9400-9900 range.

 

We've been riding this DAX bull. Lets get one final ride before bears wake up from the dead

ALSI can follow if she wants. I see som of last years dogs are leading this year.

BHP,AGL and gold stocks are back. Dont forget that just Anglo and BHP can carry ALSI.

Two horses can pull 38tons, With a little help from Naspers(Tencent). Naspers(Tencent) will reach 1500.

 

        

DAX: Yesterdays low (9670) is holding well. We need a close above 9730 today, or need to open above 9730 tomorrow.

9900 is target.

Nice island top in the making..but let's see if seasonals stay true to its word, as S also mentioned Feb is bearish so turn should only come around the 1st!

Chubby, spot on prediction on the markets for the week.

 

I took  a short this morning at 42455 and closed for a 100 points. Now waiting to see what Alsi has to offer for the day. Think we'll see more downside at open.

I have identified a new pattern on the charts. It's called "Positive Negative Divergence"

 

Whenever you see negative divergence, it means new highs are a-coming.

 

The nice thing is, it works on all time frames and with any settings! Just plug in your favourite values.

Imagine if Zuma had to attempt trading. When attempting to read big numbers it turns out to be things like "nine hundred and thirty nine million three thousand and sixty thousand".. Just imagine if he tries to read the ALSI every day. Chaos for his account!

 

In hindsight, this will not have much effect if you haven't seen the clip where Zuma tried to say that very big number...

So today resources are up as investors bet that strikes will mean higher metal prices..Tomorrow they go up as the strikes are averted..Wednesday they go up because Kaiser chiefs beat the Stormers. Thursday they go up as the temperature rises and Fridays forecast is a little up with a hint of sides and  relish. Thats my market wrap for the week.

without the US, it seems a close above 422/42250 is on the cards, which means we are good to go for higer highs.

Went long this morning with the dip and holding...downside should only start in Feb and be a quick backtest before the final insane rally starts going for that possible top in March...my 2c!

 

The pattern of the double bottom (Oct/Dec) very bullish and call for still higher counts!

 

But this period into Feb you can be sure of a very dull grinding higher and lower market!

Bought later in the dip(after kinda giving away 100 points which binaries made up) and closed for 100 points.  

 

Should have kept it seems like, but rather safe then sorry. Had a great week last week so I'm good with these consolation prizes. lol

Carefull of shorting at 42250. Alsi irrational. As everyone is expected to sell at 42250, buyers will drive up the market from there till they take profit.
