The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.  :)

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

*edit*  S, help me out here, but I don't see that kinda vol on the upside? 16 -20 strike calls on vol... some way from where we are now.  (Not referring to ALSI or anything, just market in general)

The Train is in Motion (Baby on Board)

Push Mr Market.

FTSE pushing

S&P pushing

We need close above 1840 on S&P

FTSE broke 6780

Now Asia must push us higher

1841 important pivot.

I realised today that my strategy totally sucks. Almost wiped out my account (small account but that's besides the point). I have been reading and strategising, but this is really not working for me guys. Where can I get some clarity on trading, or is this just not possible?

mmm..strategy..try buying shares going up and then selling when they go down ;-)

if that doesn't work then find a good wheelman, a couple pistols and a zuma mask.

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

Thanks,

Just keep an eye on FTSE. If it breaks 6780 then 6850 will come very fast.

It might take ALSI back to 42000

Thanks, agree!
