Any thoughts on this - Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke speaks on "Communication and Monetary Policy" in Washington D.C. at 7 p.m
Potentially market moving.

coming at 4.30pm to point our T40 - ---- 1771 their S1 and our S1 39800 I guess
Nice one, in fact 1770 is still a good long area.
My target for today is 1803
If we can get a dip during open, i am buying FTSE,NASDAQ and adding more Top40

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

I must say i enjoy your interaction in the forum. Keep it up.
You also have some good calls, both long and short.
We need more traders to interact. don't be scared. The are no masters in trading. The more you interact to more you learn.
Yip, agree, we can never be correct all the time but we can try and have a good plan to manage a bad call

Sunesis - If you don't mind me asking: Where did you learn the most of what you know today / where did you get your experience from? Did you work at a corporate institution (investment bank, broking house) or did you teach yourself as you went along?

Experiance teaches you to stay cool when the market is volitile like in the morning. Some of us have strong mental fitness.
Keeping a cool head is a skill that nobody can teach you.
I trade forex, so i know how the market can scare traders. Forex is very volitile, it teaches you to be able to stay calm when the storm comes.
Buying when everybody is scared is a top skill. Thats what separates the man from the boys.
Traders will never make money if they are going to chase the market all the time.
