S, you are taking some pain now. Tell us, will you keep your longs open overnight if not in profit? Still have 500 point stops on all three?

It's hard for me now, but i have to stick to my trading plan.

BTW Sunesis,
Do you still see some upside today? Or will you be a 2-day trader for current price action? Those US futures are going blood red and EU indices are also dropping steadily...
At the moment i am getting clopped hard. But my 1st long will hit my stop at 40000 for a 500 point loss, if it continues going down.
But i suspect some upside to come. I am watching 6 markets now. The sell off looks broad based, but its not aggressive in other markets.
We have had 2 sell off since 25 June rally.
Syria story sell off was about 1300 points from the 27 August top(38900) to 1 September bottom(37650)
Debt deal sell off was about 1700 from the 27 September top (39900) to 9 October bottom(38200)
The current sell off is about 1500 from the 7 november top (41500) to 40 000 current.
If we have to follow the last sell off, we would say around 39800 will be a good area for demand. That will be 1700 points same as debt deal sell off.
Maybe a correction or profit taking. Longs are safer if we consider the 39800 bearer. A close below 39800 will start another trend.
The S&P dropped to 1735 last week, don't know if that was a one day correction because it's back to the 1760-70 areas.
The Dow is still trading above 15675 top.
The ALSI is maybe dropping because of Chinese shares drop. The Heng Seng droppped below 22600 for the 1st time since September 4th
I just keep buying. I will revise my longs if we close below 39800.

I would wait..US also going to join on the downside!
See she is going at it now, 40000 (futures) might also be the low (uptrend line)!

Hallo C leg!!
Looks like we're going to break that 40350ish (futures) level, she is dropping to fast..not that I complain! And the US also needs to join in the fun!
See there is a H&S formation (thanks Redeemer) but I see a target of 39806 (futures) for a possible low later this week!
A
Think the 39806 (futures) level is coming into play now...is OPEX week in the States so the blood should flow until friday!

Does anyone have an idea of a bottom fig for this bear?
Dec alsi figures...
I thought it was in at 40381, then I thought it was in at 40305... and you know what thought did...
Thinking now it will probably close the gap around the 18th-21st of October.
If it blasts through that its probably go all the way to 40034ish(fibo 50%).
Don't know if it will get there today though, Argento probably has a more educated opinion than I.

Should you not start a new topic for this discussion?
Hahahahaha! Well said tjom.... Just like another forum/thread I know....
BTW chaps. Remember, long term trading versus day trading is very relative. For me short term = my binary option on FTSE expiring at 2pm, long term = my binary option on SATop40 expiring at JSE close..... But all opinions matter. The more info the better. The skill is choosing which of the info to use....

I find trading like body surfing, catch the right one and you will make it all the way to the beach.

Like I said. I agree with you on some points. Because this is a public forum and we are all (trying to be) professionals, keep it professional - that goes for both the Sunesis derivatives....
Agreed.
