I'm calling a top here. The Trump honeymoon will end harshly after the inauguration.

FTSE hit a 13th day consecutive record close yesterday. On track for a 14th day. How long will this insanity go on?

Sorry BnB,, felt the pain too...
But it just made a double top....
The USD is weaker which must be good for commodities and therefore SA...
Which could be the thinking behind this... (V"s chart of the dollar index was correct.. there is definitely something rational behind EW theory)
But at some point the traders will take profits...
We would've been well down if not for Richemont spoiling the party. But such is the market. Next week should see a nice drop.

Still holding. Can stick out another 500 points then I'll have to reduce. Markets truly can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.

Guys...anybody knows what caused the downward spike in Spar some 1 hour ago?
Looks like some fat finger error?
Do they re-instate positions when something like this happens?
You better know when to hold on, know when to walk away and know when to run!

Another day, another record for the Dow. 17th record close since the election. This is the textbook definition of euphoric buying. I've never seen such insanity on the markets. It all ends in tears over the next few weeks.

Is this the famous Santa Rally????

43.6 going to be tough to crack. If it happens next week I can see the floodgates opening all the way to 42k. I can't see the Santa rally happening this year. This time last year the Fed also raised and markets plunged. With US markets extremely overbought it's going to be hard to get much more upside. The drop could be even worse than last year.

Agreed. I don't like how 44240 broke ... was retested and failed
