I try to avoid rationalizing trades. If your charts paint a certain picture ... what's the point of laying down irrelevant reasons why or why not this or that must/should happen

The index is looking like it wants to rally into Jan. Bears might need to wait awhile for those gaps to close

Very true gannet, i have read this somewhere.... "News doesn’t drive the market, the market drives the news. The news media merely observe what happens in the market and then create a story in an attempt to provide an explanation. Why does there have to be an explanation?"

With the close-out tomorrow, holiday on Friday, this thing can go anywhere, so, sidelines for me till Monday!

Maybe they think the Fed wont raise rates...

But I read that the probability is high that they will...

Then the Don"s hands will be tied to get the fiscal stimulus he needs to make the US great again..

That reality should hurt them on Thursday....

maybe even today....

Apparently the Chinese are in the dwang too!!!

Short term theory giving way to long term reality...

Down we go....

Whats the news driving this ??

It's called reality. The world is in a mess. Perfect example of how irrational markets can be. The US economy is in the doldrums but their markets are at all time highs based on hope that an inexperienced clown facing a hostile Congress will reverse decades of decline and save the day. Europe on the verge of collapse. Japan printing money for decades and they're worse off every year. China - the biggest bubble in the history of civilization. Mind-boggling. I'm very happy to be short in these times.

Wave 3 breaks channel across the ALSI indices with SWIX back tested already

But more back testing to form a mid wave pause would be ultimate bullish

Its looking very bullish....

Talking heads are all sounding very bullish...

but so scary with US so all time highish..

what goes up must come down...

apparently US bank insiders are all selling their shares (ref: iBankcoin.com)

one wonders if they know something!!!!!

Another green day ahead. The US is currently in a blow off top. I expect a major drop later in the month into January. The level of irrationality in the market never fails to surprise me. I'll be adding to shorts on every bounce.

Turning points always remind of table tennis

The bad guys are those that refuse to play

Winners need someone to whap, not?

You know it was the Russians that made Armstrong take the drugs

The Americans could never be that smart and get away with it

And when it was all revealed we the innocent Americans took the pillary thingy, sort of

Thats why we got to get them back see, them smarties, they did it, see

Are you following me or are you doff like them Russians?

Dax jumps out of bed apparently in order to end its B wave.

NPN puts in a technically perfect score to complete its correction.

R/$ defies again but steps into a puddle of hogwash in its rush for equal legs

T40 futrs looks at the gap and the Rand and chooses the trampoline

I don't think it will play out this time. NPN is way too strong to let that happen and with SAB not with us anymore, the mm's will find it alot easier to control the market imho.

But then, as a trader, one should not worry which way it goes, just ride the wave's.

Certainly. Our market is far too concentrated. NPN dominates like Anglo did in the 80's. Not a healthy market at all IMO.
