If April yes but it being October...nah! ;)

Hi A, so much for  my plan of reaching close to 41000 T40F's today/Monday !

you seem to expect the expected pull back come Monday, presume we saw some profit taking in the markets today already.

what is a realistic target on T40futures for this 'temporary' pullback -

Using the Dow as bellwether she is not making a new high and is actually a bearish sign...so I won't get too comfortable just saying!

But for the ALSI she will continue to march on after the awaiting dip..so yes I concur BTD!!!!

A

The Dow is not coming to play.

Today's weakness is also due to Home Depot and United Health Care they dragging the Dow down. But i don't think it will correct before a new high. It might not come today, but it will come before a pullback

This bullrun is for real. Pullback will be minimal

I'm enjoying the long trade on NASDAQ and Euro50 though. I will close soon.

For those who trade forex, I just took a long trade on USD/JPY

TONGAAT!!!! :)

From such a low and its just the beginning

Extra import taxes on sugar importers. Good news for local Tongaat sugar producer!

I just love this market. If you check on CFD call forum, i called for a Buy on Tongaat, Vodacom and Sibanye Gold yesterday.

Yes we have import taxes, but the main cause is high sugar prices because of a fire in Brazil

Bulls in control

Any dumb trader can open a trade and analyse a chart.

The question is what do you do while your trade is in progress.

Closed my trade for the day. Patience and confidence helps.

To all who bought every dip with me from Monday, your wallet is fat now.
Never had a loosing trade the whole week.

Those who lost money, i hope one day you will learn market phycology and history.

Some are still licking their wounds

Google shares surge past $1,000 (R10 000) for 1st time ever; up 40% year-to-date, hope Naspers will do the same next week.

Cheers to Buy the F*cken Dip

Have a great weekend

Remember it is OPEX week too in the US so Santa should arrive Monday!

If we close around here got a nice hanging man candle for the pullback to kick off!

GO LIONS!!! :D

A

I think the US is busy with a bigger top than we think, so if your trading them I would take profit...with continued weakness in mega caps and Russell and Nasdaq reaching extremes something is up...will see next week!

Well... Sunesis is buying and Jakes is selling.

As for me, I both bought and sold today (both profitable). Had a red tail earlier, but the market turned well.

Less than a 200 point trading range (morning to date) - so something is cooking, maybe that top is just about to form for a leg down as per Argento.

Just came out of meeting and saw we did breakout to the top....and now what....

Concur, L! When I first started out trading I always wanted to be in the action. Then realised that there are actually three positions that one can take. Long , short and cash. Right now, cash is king.

And then, like S said, be a crocodile!

Signing out for the weekend.

Prosperous trading!

Atm, nothing is shouting BUY BUY to me, neither is anything shouting SELL SELL!

I guess today is one of those SIT SIT days.

ZAR is flexing muscle against US$ (or at least, the US$ is losing value).

Nasdaq futures and S&P futures edging up and we edging more and more down - does not make sense

if there is not a new S&P500 high in opening session there then i'm going to cut my T40F longs and if there is a new high then I will cut my T40 longs before their clsoe hopefully for a bit more green than current levels- might be better on monday for entry long
