its 9.36pm and glanced at S&P500 its 1689 after being at 1692
probably see a Short covering on Top40 on tomorrow morning too
I got this off one of a site a few mins ago speaking of the SP500: sounds well reasoned this time: comments from members are welcome
"...Much of today's rebound is driven by short-covering and the rate of gains will taper, possibly even pullback after shorts finish covering. Lets be clear, we haven't ended the standoff and should expect ongoing political posturing to continue contributing to volatility, but the sharp selloff the last couple days shook free many of the weak holders, leaving far more confident owners in their place
On the other side, bulls should expect some of this euphoria to pass as the political bickering resumes. There is little urgency to chase this rebound since we will likely consolidate between 1680 and 1700 until the debt ceiling is actually lifted. At the same time, the market is buyable for anyone looking to get in. Keep a stop under the 50dma and shorts can use this same level to re-short the market if negotiations breakdown and a default is back on the table."

Dip buyers are bulletproof. They think they can't lose & sure seems like they can't

Thanks S and C - got in at long T40 FUTURES at 38524 this morning - just dont think the politicians will 'at this early stage' just lift the ceiling and open without horse play which will hurt - so will hold one and close one for profit - feel there still has to be a a bit downflash to come sometime before the 39000's reached. otherwise all to easy !

Bull markets are stronger by orders of magnitude, than bear markets. Due to human nature, they tend to go and go and go.

Yup and yup!
Pretty good (better than Sunesis and Chubby all-in-one), and not that costly, if you willing to fund a R100k account and trade the correct way.
well, I'd be interested in it - but guess one need much bigger account to make it worthwhile? like a R1mil at least?

.... and is it any good, as it's pretty expensive ?

US jobless claims more than anticipated.
Market may not like it as someone here correctly said last week, the notion of non tapering is already factored into the equation.
Yes, but... Yellen is going to be FED chairperson...
