Yep..Buyers always look to get after a pullback but sellers never quite know where the top actually is
Shorting on the way up makes me think of chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow: When you get there, the rainbow has moved forward!

Watched Roffey the other night, can't believe that guy is still on the air, each time since 2010 saying the same old story, "this is not a bullmarket..."!!
Look where we are now..!

Difficult to believe he's sticking to his view, seeing that he's so full of bull....

But it is soooo much more fun to short
But it is soooo much more fun to short
In all history of the stock market, Bull trends last longer than than bear markets.
If you just put a long position at any price you are sure to make a
profit.
You will only loose when there is a crash, but that only happens once a decade.
So keep with the trend if you are still learning.
Shorting is for people who have already taken a lot from the markets.
Don't forget to buy the dip. Only buy the Dip. Don't buy when the market is going up. Buy when its falling.
Like right now its going up. Don't buy. Wait for a dip.

Ye, I know, but man...shorts just burn you, can make such good profits for a period of time and only takes one wrong short to loose it all!

Rarely in my trading career had I made good profits from shorting, it just eats away into your cash..nibble nibble..until it is lost..and then the grief and regret!
Stick with the trend!

Weekly Outlook!
Something to notice...look at the MACD coming down and the market moving up in a triangle to possibly breakout soon, now we know strong uptrends usually ends with a blow off top...and with October being the month in which the US had significant tops and bottoms in the past keep a watch.
Another graph showing a 77 month cycle that already peaked...

Today the FTSE went down, while the ALSi went up. Its showing you that smart money is backing EM markets.
Octaper will never happan. One reason to back EM markets now.

Hi S
You flip-flopping more than a US Democratic Presidential candidate now! What made you change your mind this time?
K
When you trade, you have to know when to make decisions fast. Don't hang on a loosing plan.
Today i can be a Bull, tomorrow a bear. But never a pig.
Expect change everyday or every second, because the market is one big giant casino.
Closed my long , will short above 39700

I see the potential for a short squeeze when 39600-620 gets broken... Quick 100 points to the upside..
Seems the short are still quite comfortable. The bulls will take the stairs then...

Maybe i should rather trade the ZAR than the alsi. I hate it when it does that. When the rand strenghen again the alsi will also up and when it weaken it will up again until it decides now, then is drop 100 points in a minute.
