I ditto the above, long term too complicated for me as well... its mostly revealed in the rearview mirror for me....
EW is a bunch of nonsense. No two EW users can even agree where the waves begin and end. You have a better chance at winning by throwing darts to determine your position.

For now ... until March (I reserve the right to move the goalposts) ... my short positions will be bigger than my longs
Closed 4 ticks off the low but then sat on the side and just watched this thing run. Duh!

Have you considered hedging your longs? If 44800 breaks comprehensively you might find yourself in the dwang. Next stop will be 44k.
you talking about breaking 448 on daily ? I have hedged before yes .......willing to do it again but just want to avoid shorting at the low.....

alsi can be very unforgiving if you get it wrong
without looking at your chart you should be able to answer 3 questions.
1. why are you long (or short)
2. what is your target
3. what is your stop
if you can't immediately answer then your system is flawed and the alsi will keep taking your money until you fix it

Thanks V, I am not saying the chart is wrong I also saw the divergence you pointed out indicating a change in trend however I was getting rather nervous about the daily chart looking like it forming a top and that being lower than the previous top, making me think more downside is coming....but its not done yet now is it....

My advice - if you're getting nervous about your position then you should reduce it's size. You are over exposed. You aren't comfortable with your risk on the trade.

so here is a little wave 1 which is impulsive and quite well developed already - where is it going and when?
Don't look at me, I did my homework - but you will tell me I am right in the 4th looking for 5th to 46200 futrs
Then its the little wave 2 that is going to be and do what by when?

Hi V excuse the ignoramus question i'm about to ask but is your chart still valid for the Alsi ....? I am quite new at this and risk losing quite a bit with my longs atm...

Timeframe of view of chart is daily over a few years but the comment about minor 2 wave to 45000 (futures) being neat is moot
