I agree with you on trading the chart. BUT our market is a bit of an exception. We have a heavily concentrated market, heavily influenced by the ccurency - Naspers alone makes up 20% of the TOP40! With the massive impact of the Rand and the current political environment, it makes very hard to only look at the chart. To ignore the politics even when the charts says otherwise is not feasible for me. IMO only.

But don't forget the Rand factor. Any major political development can rock the currency and the market.

Bad damage today. Can't see this market turning around soon unless something truly massive happens to move it up. Will add to shorts on tomorrow's small bounce.
