If we have a spike upwards on FOMC meeting, expect profit taking end of september. If we have a spike downwards on FOMC meeting, expect a rally end of September.
If you have any stocks open, just make sure you have them closed before close today. Rather trade the ALSI after hours
Whatever is said in the FOMC my charts indicating down until next week...I don't trade news, although I do agree it kicks off a rally or downtrend but is already in the charts.
Is also holiday in China and as a lot of ALSI players are there should also add to the weakness!

Your opening yourself up to take some hits if you are wrong.
Trend today so far is down, I will think of changing my position when I see trend change, and then I will also only go to neutral and wait for short entry opportunity.
But thanks for the advice though

Normally with our TOP40 post future close-out drops we don't follow the US, so they might put in their top later this week, looks like we have started our journey south...normally it falls a week so keep a watch for end of Monday for a good buying opportunity for the final October run!

Trendline from previous tops March-April comes in at around 39400-ish. If we get there this morning that's where I'll enter a short. Then wait for Ben to start pulling the plug and wean the addict off its drugs. It may be a stormy ride... Looking for 1400 points, target 38000.
It might not be a fast fall, the actual effect of pulling that money from the market, will have to filter through, like to interest rates. But once that happens, I think we should have a big pull back.
This announcement was well communicated so only if we see a big taper or no taper that we can expect volatility.
Just my opinion.
Lets wait and see.

Tencent share price down 3.5%. Might see a dip first with the first opening trades, just like CFR the other morning.
S&P futures flat, FTSE flat. Let's wait and see...

FTSE is still closing the gap... in fact it's just about to close it. S&P 500 only closed about 1/2 the gap.
