Happened to me a couple of times as well, refreshing the browser fixes it - not ideal, I know.

What happened Plasma?

I use the iPad app. Should have killed the one long immediately, since I am trading with a small account on IG. Did not do that and suffered unnecessary losses. However, me just a bit unsettled, since I have been working hard on my discipline etc. Last week 21 trades with only 5 unsuccessful. Had a good day yesterday till late last night and a scalp this morning. Then the train smashed me back into reality. Just rebooting.....fundamental parameters still sound...emotional elements resettling.

ALSI J200 bounced (in this drop) nicely off the 4h graph referred to in the quoted post - hence contemplating if this is a long entry now.

I'm always amazed at how the the browser (IG markets) always seems to throw a shockwave flash error as soon as there is action in the market... I have a great internet connection.

Hitherto, thetherto...

 

1. Daily needs to bounce up (path of least resistance looking at BBand and MACD) which exceeds the mentioned target

2. Current level (as I mentioned as the turning point) is a resistance, once broken it should catapult up

3. The 4h is also on the same trajectory as 1d, (with shorter time span, it is more accurate and thus I am taking my target from it)

4. On the 4h, the Mhlato's thingy is also breaking out, supports upwards momentum.

5. My 4h channel is a good channel and mostly reliable, the only concern would be, it didn't touch the lower channel line drawn

 

More reasons, but let me post my 4h chart with some markings on it, including the channel.

i think retailers are pricing in a hike. whether we get multi hikes from here or just one or two remains to be seen.

i  think resi/indi stocks that focus on a weaker rand will be the stocks to follow.

 

I agree, but I will only be focusing on resources,

Like you said, they should benefit from weaker ZAR and tapering should not influence them as much as the other sectors.
