If my drawing is correct, 34750+- (J200) should be a support now.

 

The next couple of minutes will tell.

Your daily chart should tell you we are in a uptrend and not downtrend. The  uptrend started on the 25 June until today..If we hit 35700 and then go down then you can say the longer downtrend still prevails..

Asia basically followed the same pattern until this mornings EU open. They initially dropped like stones and Oz was over 2,5% down at one point. All of them recovered a tad towards their afternoons.

 

Thinking EU and ALSI will follow the same pattern. For example I had a buy on the OZ staying above 4700 around 5 this morning which matured nicely in the money and now I have sells on the China 300 to close down and FTSE to be under 6305 by 13h00 our time. Will re assess after that to maybe look for buys again.

IMO its going to be a red in Europe until people start to anticipate for the US data in the afternoon. US might just turn the tide later today. However atm US futures are firmly red along with major EU futures. all -0.5% or more.

 

So it might be another day for on of those V formations.

You have been awfully quite Plasma

Struggling a bit to create a balance between work and trading at the moment. I need to move platforms iro trading warrants, since my stress levels without a S/L facility is not good - I cannot watch the screen that regularly. Had a couple of good trades (could have been better), but I got bitten a bit by one yesterday afternoon, where I traded the expectation of a breakout based on the US data at 16000... US went up a bit but we went down. Did not see that coming.

It seems holding for any period of time makes one lose - in/out now seems the best option

At these high levels i doubt there can be more upside?

ive learnt that there are 2 types of trades. (1) where you ride the trend for a certain period a few days to maybe a week or so then 

(2) where you are in/out within a day or 2 sometimes quicker.

Hahaha..Will try not to! You still in the driver seat ...(for now!)   

Yip, Road looking very rocky now. We are sitting right on that upward 15 min trend line.....Sell? Don't sell? I should sell based on 15 min chart, but daily chart tells me we are surely firmly on our way down now. So, seeing as I have some buffer let me stick to the longer time frame trend which is down....I think.

There is positive intraday divergences  in the charts which is going to lift prices overnight and also tomorrow.
