I also listen when Lekkerkry, Plasma, Jakes, Ninja, Grumpy Old Man, karlwynv, bearcatcher, etc speaks..... It's about as much info as possible! Make an informed decision.

I shorted yesterday and was doing well until that pop everybody discussed. It happen as A predicted though and yes, I did listen to him but at that point I was still trading what I saw, which was us dropping along with US futures and Europe.

I did change my position around when we started climbing which means that Jakes, Argento was right about it turning later. 

Don't mirro someone else unless it is an expensive Forex robot!

Here we go again, Jakes will probably want to skip this specific post (no room required though)...

 

 

Some newbies get to this forum, they are all enthralled by what Argento says and his insights blah blah blah. They then trade what he says… most newbies have IGM accounts, thus trading CFDs.

 

So now read again what I said in the previous post, then read the below:

 

One cannot (should not) equate intraday trading with the acumen of medium term insights – especially in this market (read QE).

 

There is a time and place where even those (of us!) with IGM accounts notice there is much value in trading within once means with an adequate risk profile and taking into confidence what some of the more astute posters here post. For as much as taking advice from the Internet counts, Argento comes with a pedigree and proven experience. I’d hate to see the SC newbies following him, making huge losses in the short term, turn around start blaming him then I lose some valuable insights form a nameless and faceless poster on a public Internet forum, if he decides not to post anymore! We posters (any forum) tend to devour one another at times.

 

So don’t scare the man off!

Would 36000 (J200) / 36200 (Top40) be your low for now?

 

I dont have big enough minerals to predict this market, I'm just sticking to the trend, which for me is higher.

I will change my position when I see a change in the trend.

 

Seems like money is flowing in regardless of any news!

Yes. It should. EZ futures are all red and US futures are flat. Whole heap of Euro data coming out this morning and they are usually poor. So yes, all points to a retraction today. But - - - - US PPI data out this arvie so that just might throw everything off again....

 

But the most important thing - didn't Argento say it will drop today? Then it will.....
