Looks like a hanging man forming and means Monday to rock and roll to the upside!

We would ALL be short (market position wise) and smiling, that is where we would have been without QE!
It would be interesting to know where markets would be today if QE had never taken place and the more difficult route had been followed.

Don't feel too bad Argento, I called UP today and played myself right out of the game even before it started. ( gotta be less impulsive.....Grrrr)Right shoulder not completed yet, so needles to say neckline still intact. I think the guys following you will have to lick there wounds, as I suspect some of them trade CFD and futures,
,shame
Imo Jake is correct in his take on QE. As long as more and more money is pumped into the system, so the rickety house of cards manages to stay propped up and then some. I would imagine that because of this prolonged easing, that historical/ seasonal cycles would be knocked out of kilter.
Lekkerry's observation, that the effect of current easing measures or supposed "good news" appear to have less of an effect and shorter in effective duration is a sure sign that this will come to an end shortly, one way or another.
It would be interesting to know where markets would be today if QE had never taken place and the more difficult route had been followed.
Trading by emotion and/or expectation is a pocket emptying certainty.

Ok, that's me, out of my shorts, all the signs are there but still she climbs, guess we had our impulsive down move with that drop in gold.
Guys were right that spotted the inverted H&S, well done, looks like a target to 36000 before she turns down again! But new highs on the table after the August low!
Gonna be a bumpy winter...
Need to lick my wounds now!

Took my one bearish clove off!
Must admit, charts starting to look bullish, will cut once she goes through that bear downtrend line, about 150 points up!
Don't like this early weakness and recovery, most of the times showing some strengh coming..!
Just so frustrating, US in the topping cycle and their November leg up is getting insane, but guess Jakes and his QE does alter things!

Guys rand strengthening, MPC back above R130....foreigners back into our market bigtime... Overall can only go up!!
Argento check your system again as I cannot believe we will have a major pullback again unless Euro crap starts again!! Very good results out of USA too!!Resources also seem to have found some support at these low levels..

<flutter flutter> I am a trader then, as I am also confused!
So thus we wait. Below 34200 (actually 34000 would be better) = short and above 34400 = long for today.
Hi Lekkerry,
The market is doing what it does best, confusing the crab out of traders!
Today is important and will show us if that inverted H&S is valid or also maybe a double top pattern..?
She is still under her major bear downtrend line and you are right with May being bearish, so mr market will have to show us today!
