The mark of a professional, however, sounds like this:

         It is my fault.  I traded this position too large for my account size.

         It is my fault.  I didn’t stick to my own risk parameters.

Just got confirmation from traders I know from UBS in London, and they are gooood, US is about to turn and once started will break that 1538 level and aim for 1500/1485 before the next intermediate long!

And we should follow down, so sitting tight with my shorts!

I think today is an excellent example of the psycological tensions that can developed where one member (Argento) is playing warrants with a certain expectation and the market has not yet delivered, whilst other members are into IGM or elsewhere, and experiencing the non delivered outcome to a significantly higher degree. In warrants the swing of the market is not felt as vehemently as in CFDs. Argento will most likely be right, I have not kept tally, but his forecast succes rate is very high. But, whilst he and others in Warrents might be able to ride it out, the CFD Route is a tough one under such circumstances as today. Here I would like to echo Lekkkerry's risk management cautions as prevously discussed in this thread.

Having said that, will wait till 1530 to see what US does before deciding on a short in IGM.

Gonna have a cold beer after today, sitting tight in these moves not nice, I rather have a low VIX thankyou! :D

Reason for me keeping my shorts is the negative divergence on both our charts and the US, so something is up...

Looks also to a bear flag developing on the dailies so will have to see how it pans out!

Haven't seen a downphase like this end in such a zig zag manner, but I might be wrong, no candle in yet!

My view, you can't fight the central banks.

US looking to continue QE, market also expecting ECB rate cut.

$ 84bil pumped into the market every month will have one effect.

Maybe the market is reacting on Chris Gayle's 30 ball hundred..... He is on 156 from 57 and still 3 overs left!
