The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.

It would seem the barrier for bulls to knock down is absolutely 34000 (J200). Multiple attempts since 15 April, but it is really not making any headway.

Jip, I'm not comfortable taking a long term view, so day trading. All of my trades today have been profitable though, playing it like a drum! Will stop posting though, it would irritate me also.

Jakes, plse don't stop posting - it is most illuminating to read more entries and exits of more advanced members, like you and Argento, - and I am sure I speak for most here as it helps me learning pattern recognition etc - and I ... presume you closed short round about now to put more in the bag till your next entry
-looking forward to see your next trade ---
Thanks, took some profit @ 34077.
Letting the rest run until I see turn around again.

Tempted to let gold run long for a 3rd day in a row or should I just take the profit. What are my chances?
