Jakes, your so many times in and out I would also be clueless about where this market is headed!

Hi Bear Catcher,
I don't presume to be smart/brave enough to call the market for the next week, but the trend seems to be up since Friday, so I am taking profit on a short trade as soon I start feeling uncomfortable.
My long term view is that we are way to expensive, but the market hasn't been trading on fundamentals since central banks started easing.
Make every Rand a prisoner.

I'm not calling a huge down day, but if the Rand starts to strengthen against the $ and GBP bears will have a good day.
Exchange rate keeping us up here.
And ZAR just keeps falling.

Longs have been warned!
If you do your charting you will see the US still got more counts down (1500-1485) and take us with it, the SRSI has clearly turned down and crossed lines issueing a new term sell!
And don't through dr copper out the door, still a leading indicator!

Today yes but there has been a few oversold bounces like these in this downphase..
These down channels end in a very impulsive move down together with putting in a reversal candle, has not happend so if not today then Monday but the final whack is coming..still looking for that 32670 level low, don't get sucked into todays upmove!

I got my spade and pick ready foy the gold rush...
The mark of a professional, however, sounds like this:

IGM SA40 already up 186 points (0.55%) at 34051.
Gold up $18 to $1422 and Platinum up $10. Will support gold shares big time
I hope for a small pull back this morning to 33950 (The 73 dividend points for Friday,19 April close that must come off)
for me to add to long position
