ok, so far so good.  If we going to get c=a then i expect 49435ish for this abc correction

Think she is still busy with the B leg so C leg down should soon commence down towards your target, very choppy action and normally bearish!

Seasonals turn down into end of week from today!

Medium term:

Update 21st Oct am
JSE, ALSI Swix, JN43
The risk is upside. Typically, the c-leg will be similar in price movement to the a-leg. The uncertainty of the ALSI Top40 remains absent on the ALSI Swix. Other markets are generally uncertain about the apparently increasing fear of global recession or worse. The recent conflicting central bank actions are seen as causing a loss of the unsustainable market levitation and a wave of fear that the concept of painless return to normalcy is fallacious and that any out-of-step situation can bring a loss of control. The majority of markets are with sustained sideways movements that reveal ongoing reluctance to drink the Kool-Aid.
Draghi leaves an amazing legacy of jaw-dropping disbelief. Japan struggles in polluted waters. China slows because such high growth is unsustainable.
The bulls have scant to feed upon other than what the dry wind blows at them.
It appears that the best that is now achievable is to somehow maintain the sideways.

Should get a rather flat abc looking at a leg. I expect c=a for this one. That puts it right back at the big IHS neckline like we would expect

We know odds are good we will get more greens until the end of the earnings season end of the month. Then the big post earnings drop comes for those deep Lows.
Usually when the banks report beats in the start of the season then it will be a green overall season. Sets the tone of general economic health.

The AI bot must have read up on the Elliott wave theory. It interprets the effects of crowd behavior in humans. Looks like the bots are being played by the AI ringleader.

Another leg up will make a better looking abc for this b-leg.

Nice EW waves playing out here.

seems the a-leg completed.  in B-leg pullback now.  Could go 100% back to W5 high and make a DT, but not higher.  Typically 61.8%.

Brexit euphoria is a total crock. But the fundamentalists have priced this in. Earnings euphoria is a total crock, but fundamentalists know everything because the FED has got their back since capitalism was raped incoherent and permanently brain damaged starting 2007 already. No sweat my drug addicted cohorts, now we march onward to higher highs, drugger drugs, fouler foulings...

Nice call, pulled back nicely!

But think we poised for a higher high tomorrow, don't think the IHS target been met yet..but who knows!Could get a good whack thereafter...

A

Only after abc correction...  maybe then.  IBM reported a miss, so could get a mid small correction in US.  This is in line with what i expect for ALSI.  Seems to be happening as i write.

W5 confirmed , we march on to 1.618% target at 50700.  Careful there... I expect a ABC  pullback to initiate there.

Meanwhile the news bot took the AI course and thinks that Brexit is going to bring christmas every day. All bots do as they are told. Good bots.

Swix view tells it...
The 5th leg of the Intermediate (A) wave of the Primary [C] wave of the bear trend is set to resume with the completion of the Minute [b] wave at the 0.618 retrace ratio of the Minute [a] wave. Viz:

https://jsecharts.bl...-swix-jn43.html

swix-60-171019.png

Note that ( b ) enters (a) thereby negating any impulsive assumption.

Yes and the IHS A mentioned.  can see it clearly on the chart, broken now.  So probably pullback to neckline (W3 peak) from  50700 to 50200... probably a stop hunt below neckline too

US Earnings season started.  Big banks reporting today before US open with UNH already reporting a hit, so looks good for rest.
Think we could get disruption of the down trend until end of the earnings season end of Oct.  October typically bullish seasonally.
Lets see what it brings. the global slow down could make it a red October too....  so the hunt starts...

Agree, looks like a IHS brewing on ALSI to pop latter this week!

When earnings are the depleting and unsustainable wages of sin then eventually there will be a destruction of shareholder capital and fake profits will finally become acknowledged as such.

But does China really have such enormous gold reserves?

What would be the impact of the proving of this assumption?

ALSI Swix puts equal legs abc to conclude the b leg of the downtrend that now resumes.

Distraction impact was almost a 2 day standstill. Normal chaos will now resume.

Agree the resumed downleg can be to the Oct, Dec 2018 low

Just stepped out for some essential restocking and respite and look what the bots are doing now.
My app advises that when the kingpin bot gets the manual reset from the AI bot then the screens will display a return towards what the humanoids expected from the previous digital data.
So I reckon I will drink to that because none of these creations knows what I am writing about on my screen for them to decipher without asking for my permission or opinion on their interpretation.
And we can blame AI for this mess so that no humanoid name will ever be entered into the blame game.

If you can't beat them you join them. Bots are the future. I think within a few decades markets will become untouchable by human hands. Short term trading that is.
My most successful bots trade against the the short term trend. Contrarian trading. Its good for liquidity for big positions and you buy low.
The rest is money/risk management.
