Swix also making a bounce of the broken trendline.  Lets see if bulls can stand their ground. So far so good...

Ok, IHS popped.  Nice strong break.   Busy testing the neckline,  Its friday, so don't think we going to get more than 51200 initial target (1.618%) for the day...

What term are your trades typically? Just trying to figure out what you trading/calling. My calls are typically 1 day to maybe a week max.

All time frames primarily for managed investment decisions.

Keep up the good tips.

Snippit... Another thing.
I've been making lots of work on the 1.618% fib extention this year. I've come to the conclusion that its one of the most overlooked treasures in trading
. Mostly used by forex traders traditionally but since then been very effective on just about every market. Crypto, futures and commodities. Been applying it on all of them and especially sp500 has been most accurate I've seen

But it's only relevant once price breaks the 1% fib. Else you get trapped in a double bottom (db) or Double top (dt).

I all my years of trading, 1.618% fib is probaly one of the few indicators you can use on its own. 99.99% of other indicators needs confirmatory assistance.

Why? Cause it's void of time/period/close prices. Time kills a strat.... Big tip

 JSE Top 40 Futures Index

Head and Shoulders are addictive and don't appear to work all that often. I prefer that they are middle-of-the-road types not too big and not too small. Foremost for me is the probability that this is the second 5th leg of the 5-3-5 pattern. An abcde pattern is my expectation. This small pause can be the b-leg or some further fiddle-faddle can play out, but not necessary. The low point here is near to the 38.2% retrace of the previous upleg. The c-leg should preferably target nearby the 61.8% retrace. Then the possibility of the big bounce or the continuation of the 5th leg will need further analysis.

The Head and Shoulders becomes a distraction.

Charts expect some resurrection, but more likely it will be the return of the zombies.

And the zombies lead by an arm and a leg.

Don't forget za rate decisionb ~3:20pm. Rand will weaken if they cut and push alsi up.

I thought the political mafia gangs were all living in court or at some inquiry or other. They need a lot more time for themselves to submit a few billion more fake invoices and take whatever is left in the treasure chest.

Charts expect some resurrection, but more likely it will be the return of the zombies.

Snippit, you think npn will go up today too? Stressed

NPN took heavy volume during the futures index close out. One day you can tell your grandchildren about how you discovered that the JSE futures index directly controls the buying and selling of the underlying. But I reckon its all about the bots and their fiendish little algos.

Next up the US opens into the post rate cut session. History informs that everything will get bought back by the issuers and bonus time will be here again.

Bots appear scared to buy back in. Please sniff your bot and tell me what it is smoking.

If it smells like camel I would have it neutered.

Don't care... trades ticks. Takes many longs a day. Up or down, makes money on any bounce. Makes more in drops. Never takes loss. 30% - 40% a month.
