It's not often we don't see a gap quickly filled.

Is this morning's gap going to wait for March?

Too soon to call but one to file away if it doesn't

I've been too mouthy ... going to cork it for awhile  :)

oil thumped again, temporary hiccup or continued slide? volatility is nauseating

I haven't tried trading commodities with my indicators but what they show me is that this might be a temporary dip but the price of oil is on the recovery path, but a drop below 45.65 might mean the slide will continue.

Please don't take this as trading advice but my humble opinion.

Good Luck!

Welcome back B,  hope you had a good rest!

Think US might just steam ahead and take us up again, very dull thus bulls are still in charge!

A

Thanks Argento,

Another great call from you again on US.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Here comes the flush of 45400.. Hold on!

There is no top formation to cause a bigger sell off IMO, this is looking more like sideways dull tuning up for me and it normally gets resolved in a very impulse manner to the upside...the NFP event might just keep her going up!

We haven't broken the upper weekly bollingerband to implicate a bigger top is in place...yet!

Yesterday the S&P gapped up and painted a green stilt bar

Today it's gapped down and painted a red stilt

I have 3 indicators showing the area around 45400 as support. That's strong and if it breaks ............. !!!

I don't know what I'm missing (apart from a screw or 2)

But I just don't see this market going up today.

If the US gaps down at the open we might see a hectic sell off

I agree that's an important level

But .... I don't know if this makes sense ... it has a vulnerability about it. (see ... there goes the 3rd screw!)

Hello everyone, i am back now after taking a couple of months off from trading.

Started off this morning when i bought at open and what a terrible idea that was and closed the trade almost at the bottom. But that was just because i didn't follow my own rules and Mr Market gave me a good hiding. Kudos to everyone who bought the dip. Beorn, Motion Picture, Argento well done guys keep it up

Welcome back B,  hope you had a good rest!

Could this move be nervousness over NFP numbers tomorrow, direction seems undefined.
