good idea....but i may take small profit on my lower shorts and then add again as we climb...when you talk about the VIX is that the CBOE Volatility Index on investing.com?

Yip...you will see her spiking soon and bring on the big moves as we saw in October!

 

See how she made a higher low against the SPX higher high in December, very bearish for mr market!

i agree....and end of today should be a nice opportunity for a 400 point long into monday IMO.

My charts say down...but the beauty of different perspectives and therefore creating the market with seller and buyers!

 

More down into 4pm and bounce Monday before the slide continues....IMO!

A similar move preceded the fall to the Oct low

 

We gaped up ... all sunshine and roses ... turned down ... closed the gap ... and closed much lower.

 

Are we seeing the same today?

I think so, valid reversal and showing on the short term trend changing!This bounce was very zig zaggy and not impulsive showing it was corrective as mentioned!

 

Medium term trend was always down!

 

Next week is seasonally bearish so with all the distribution top patterns in place on the other indexes too the red hanger sale should start in full swing!

 

Naspers and financials leading the way down!
