The 38% retrace (safex) points to 40700ish and gives a rhyme.

Do you see it?

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

That 5H positive divergence is still at play and this drop from the US looking very impulsive too, so still more bullish than bearish, tomorrow very important..if we continue north then it will be a very good sign!

I see 43000 (cash) then I may say we are changing direction, I do however think we are approaching the end game of this drop, but that could well be 1000 point below this. above 43 I will add long and sell off my shorts.

even the run today looked very nervous, no buying going on at leased not the big boys. I would expect a good hard run to get above the 200 day in order to confirm a turn and bull run. just don't see that yet.

I may also be a bit more cautious due to burning my fingers twice in this drop.

Ye, that is why it is important how we close...could it be a Monday fool again? I might have gotten excited to quickly....

SPX chart looking concerning, broke the bull channel and daily 200 moving average..!

watch the vix, US not trading and is it still moving back up. not jumping in yet, made the mistake 2 on this drop.

there is still apprehension and if the vix goes up again tomorrow with US trading I think this thing will drop again.

in long for the day but if i see this turn i am out, still have one short active, will see if I drop it tomorrow.

US markets are open on Columbus Day - only the bond markets that aren't trading.

OK was under impression all closed.

be that as it may, VIX above 20 = concern, likely direction down.

That also looked like a "final washout" on Friday, which gives more credibility to the return of the bulls!

Also that move landed her on her lower Bollinger.

bloody margin calls.

Hi chnk,

Monday's can be tricky yes but given the engulfing candle as well on the 5H chart it looks more and more that this could be it...!

Still important how she closes but this was the signal I was waiting for!

Earning season kicks off in earnest this week so seasonals also favouring the bullish camp!

Thanks A, but would it be a bit too soon to say? You always say Mon can be hard to trade or against the trend? Would the bank holidays have any effect with the market today?

I see the ZAR getting stronger to the GBP, looks like hard to maintain the upward at this stage.

This positive divergence on the 5H chart might just pull this reversal off, look what it caused mid Aug as well....

I smell a bull in the air!

Friday's drop was very impulsive too!

This looks like a valid reversal...if she ends like this Intermediate V could have begun with news highs into beginning December IMO!

Then only primary IV should kick off....!

Waiting for her to end like this before going long and sitting tight, great buying opportunity here, bears are all drunk! :P
