Ukraine tensions flaring up again,
Weak Chinese data,
Nervousness over FED meeting.

I think the bears might roam again on Monday!

V, I think we might break that lower trend line of yours.

I am comfortable with my shorts, just wish I didn't close 2/3 on the way down.

There are always alternate short term paths. Elliott basic pattern rules are never broken (=rule #1). The retrace range offers resistance at 45600 (futures) fwiw. Below that enters anamalous, but rules always win one way or another. Caldaro now sees a similar count to ALSI as the SPX bull option, but ALSI has no bear option until it produces the 5th. So my take is Caldaro will come around to my take.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

I have been following all the chats on this forum for a while now. As a newbie I have learned a lot from the member contributions. What really gets me under at the moment is the negative sentiment in the markets and the no direction of the markets. The underlying sentiment still being negative. What I want to what is driving this negative sentiment. I am a bull of nature but I am now considering to become a bear. I have factored in QE and such. But I am still confused. Caldero and Elliot waves are there but in this volatile environment I find it very difficult to trade. Any help will be much appreciated.

Definitely a lot of bad sentiment now, I just saw the vix is still trending higher while markets are 'consolidating', the markets are at all time highs and I think just the slightest bit of bad news now will send the bulls running for the hills. Next week is going to be extremely important to determine the next move up or down. On my chart I see a flag pattern on the T40, which normally means just a short consolidation and a break to the upside, but I think if we get negative news next week the fall is going to be brutal. In my humble opinion.. ^_^

Opened a long @ 45825 IG. The usual Fri short cover not looking very committed at all...

Installed SL and going out. Very weak finish to the day despite a persistently weak R/GBP....Damn, as you get comfortable with pattern, the goal posts change....

Still hanging in.....was >200 pips down .....going to take the dog for a walk.

What is more scary is that a couple of us here (me included) called "the top" at the beginning of this year and thought that "this is it". I am laughing at myself now looking back at that. And that was when we flirted with 41k - 42k.

Yip, I remember that.

The good old days, when FED pumped heaps of cash into the market.

Those days are coming to an end, and int rate hike talk in US is starting to raise it's head, not saying it will be in this year already, but they are starting to talk about it.

This junkie (Market) is not sober and still very needy of it's fix.

As soon as that cheap money starts drying up, watch this junkie through a **** fit.

(The search for yield will leave our shores in my opinion).

But hey, that's just my opinion.
