Didn't see his thing starting another leg up but charts surely falling into place...daily macd very bullish so looking like a up September again for Intermediate V!Weekly we have a bullish downflag too!

 

All that I know from experience is if Draghi announces stimulus tomorrow bears take cover!(Given we could see a backtest of the 21 daily moving average first after the ECB meeting as you mentioned)

Should have gone short at 46500 previous 2 time that was the turning point, imo i think we could go down to V s target of 46100 before goiing higher .

I agree, but V's pullback is much needed to take prices "off the boil" - think I will wait for S&P tonite if it is going to march to its 2020 level before a pullback or pull back for a dip just above its likely 2008/12

Here's my take.

 

Long trades taken since the morning of 28 Aug have been closed. Therefore there's no reason why we should go up, unless the market decides to squeeze more bears out of their short positions. 

 

Looking down below, though, I see a lot of bears, wincing in pain as the vice grip tightens around their cajones. It was going well until 45800 when suddenly the bears couldn't close their positions; the market just kept going higher. Those bears will be throwing tantrums until the market finally does the right thing, which is to go down to 45800. 

 

We should then be ready to head higher. How high? Unfortunately I cannot say. What's keeping us hanging mid-air like Wile E Coyote is that there's a bunch of sell orders at 46461. If we retest that level, we'll then be able to do the trek south. 

 

This thing is about to tumble over; it's just a matter of time. Of course, this is just my opinion; I've been wrong many times before.

I hear what you're saying, brother, but my problem is that I don't have a proven trading system for shorting the ALSI. These guys have been raping and pillaging since 37000; I just don't want to get my balls chopped off after what has been an exceptionally good year so far.

Back forth back forth....not taking any view, this damn thing can't make up her mind, but this looks very more bullish now than bearish, looks like a false break down out of that channel and usually catches bears off guard!!

 

Draghi might just announce stimilus on Thursday and that means Intermediate V here we go!
