I agree on the breakout, but then you have to get it right...and when not, admit it, don't call it a "false breakout"
What else was it than a false break out down? Is a known market term you can go and read up about, quite interesting what happens!
But there is traders that made a lot of money with playing inside the channel but didn't see much on this forum!?

According to Livingstone that is also the environment where you loose the most money, playing within the consolidation/distribution channel....just saying!

Careful with the consensus

Something interesting to note, in August she made these mini top formations that resulted in downside....in September making the same type of patterns BUT not top formations anymore but consolidation patterns to only go higher!That shows on a trend change that took place...
Use it or not!
Will we see a blow off top this afternoon with a possible stimulus announcement...I think so!
Waiting for that retest to go long!

Sorry, i disagree with you. the volatility during July and Aug was actually a traders dream. You just should have changed your strategy / system from trend trading to range trading.

Well said, last few months have been extremely difficult, with many false breaks, has not been an easy trading enviroment

HDB, just want to make sure about the FTSE Futures and Pound influence on OUV. Do you adjust only until 8:30 or until just before opening.
If the OUV gets reached before opening, does that make the OUV nul and void.
Mx post this on the CCi thread plz..lets keep OUV on one thread so others can follow there

My count easy wrong, but yes this is 1st looking for 2nd which can easy be a double top coming up now if 46500 fails.
Do you see this leg up since friday as minor 1 of Intermediate V?
If the fib 50% level is around 46100 and 45400 being the low we are looking at a possible target of 46800 tomorrow?

This scenario not typical. But Elliott story seems to know it well.
If this is the 2nd (of the 3rd) it is without strong guidelines, but anything less than a 50% pullback tends to see 3rd extension.
I don't anticipate any more than 38.2%
Meanwhile its a brawl at 46500

I trade charts so if I make mistakes its because of a difficult environment as it is currently, last week she confirmed a break down out of the distribution channel but only to be a false break...!To be a good trader one needs to adapt quickly so she had quite a few false movements these past months!
You called September bearish as well so believe I'm not alone in this boat together with many other traders!
But every mistake is just another brick I build to refine my trading strategy and art....all my posts is my view and if other traders trade and follow my calls the risk is on them!I don't fish for compliments nor do I care if a critic throw me a bone or 2!
Just trying to figure this beast out brother, but thanks for pointing it out!

A with all due respect... You have messed up all your calls in last 3 months and honestly i dont think you have made any money but actually lost money!!
Prior to that you were brilliant!!
What became so different in last 3 months that all your calls have gone the other way??
Think you need to sit down and do some deep soul searching son!!
I can actually give you 2 reasons:
1. Market last 3 months have been extremely choppy and hard to call for medium term. So cant blame you on that besides your strategy to play medium and longer term. I think once markets become choppy ( and this due to fact QE coming to end), your strategy should have changed to accommodate that!!
2. Seems like your E wave theory which you used before but never game it prominence in your calls, has now once you started giving it more attention for extra direction in your calls has to a certain degree completely messed up your calls. Previously you only used your charts and seasonal changes for the calls... Now with EW, im sorry, this additional tool has messed it up completely. So back to the drawing board for you id say!
Please note: Im not trying to attack you in any way but merely stating what i think has gone wrong with your system in last few months. Im sure you will agree with me on this. KISS is best...Too many tools and you actually get confused!!!
