I am chicken **** today, so if my shorts are in loss before the meeting i will cut loss. If in profit will close and maybe leave one open with close stop loss. I think the MM will try and take everything out today in like 20 minutes. So with stimulus they could also take it down before up, nobody knows.... :o

just continue to add shorts below 46600   IG and u ok!!  stop loss of cos!!

What else was it than a false break out down? Is a known market term you can go and read up about, quite interesting what happens!

 

But there is traders that made a lot of money with playing inside the channel but didn't see much on this forum!?

No brakeout of the range on Friday according to my charts. I suppose it depends on one's view of what the range is  :)

 

Regarding your question, yes, a lot of money was made and the kitchen will follows when the brakeout (up or down) come's.

Taken first short at 46427 and another one at 46469 and will ad last one keeping last one if we go higher. Looking for it to dip to around 46300 again before news but that 46600 look highly probable also so will keep close eye.

Sorry, i disagree with you. the volatility during July and Aug was actually a traders dream. You just should  have changed your strategy / system from trend trading to range trading.

I agree with you, M; it's been the most beautiful time of my life actually. My trading style is more suited to this kind of market and I find it difficult to understand why other traders have struggled with it. 

 

If you've also made money, well done, brother.
