I'll hold some of my longs till we hit the daily top trend line.

I still need to get the learning not to trade element sorted.

 

Yes I have been learning from the markets instead of the students as we all have our own theories, in practice the market decides, so what have I learnt:

 

1. Trend is always your friend

2. A changing trend is a better friend but very difficult to spot and if spotted will make you a serious lot of money

3. When in doubt stand aside(difficult to do), so if you can't then rather trade a very small position to test the market direction

4. Managing money is probably the most important thing

5. Taking profit will never let you down but closing a position prematurely can hurt because it leads to the belief that the market is going to go in the other direction

6. The best trading strategy  is your own because its yours and suites you best, so master it :)

7. Currently I see the market is growing on  a serious divergence so expect serious down side in the very near future

Did steal a short last night just before US close at 45 871. Saw some pip opportunity given that IG was > 300 pips up above top40 spot. And if WW3 breaks out then lots of pips on Monday!!!

Was chicken and got out before 1730 this afternoon ....had a good run for the day...could have been 500 pips profit but walked out with 300... That first big retest this morning took me out on the pip.
