Looking at the 4h cash IG chart we will have resistance at 47000. Not sure whether we will break that...but if so will then grab what is available. Otherwise, it we bump heads a couple of times, might close my current long of 46925 in this region. Dash Darn...just saw we nearly back to my entry.
doubt we'll see any breakout up or down on current thin trading conditions...slow,slow day

Oh well, had my stop at my entry...all gone because I wanted to squeeze another 10 pips out.
The first goal is to ensure survival – avoid the risks that can empty your account and put you out of the trading business.

ah ha....i've only just started looking into EW waves but i have attached a chart of what i was thinking....but i am biased because my position is short at the moment
Now that was my 1st take. Not altogether negated, but between II and III is the difference.
its about how you interpret the main rules and guidelines

Bit peeved off with IG. Took a long during the drop after 0830 and order filled at my price, but market already 20pips lower at that stage. Thought I would get the message of price no longer valid...which you sometimes see when you want to sell and things are moving fast. Well, seems to be going to be a dull market day.....or not?
Believe me! If it was against IG you would have gotten the message!

Ag Delta, you are doing just great at this tricky thing! Keep it up. Another consistent winner! Enjoyed your post on your R50 /pt deal! Tried that as well, it was the most valuable Rand based learning curve I have ever had.
Still short.

Not wanting to know your business but are you trading the Alme? The mini Alsi as it were. I think that I should switch as I am still
with the Alsi. Is there the same volume and is it easy to do a trade?
the last point on ease of trade, I would say yes *** is easy to sell when you need to up to a point, if you are looking to trade at R500 per point I would say you are going to have to sell in lots and not all at once. I have traded at 250 per point a few times and always been able to get out of the trade at the point I want or within about 20 points, but in most of these cases it was a mistake in the first place although for one of the trades it was early in the day and the market was shooting the lights out so I made the biggest amount I have ever made on a single trade, but that is a bit rich for my blood and a don't quite have balls big enough. maybe in a few years.
