Yip, minute 2 from minor 1 (5 minutes) up!These minute 2's retrace quite a bit of minute 1 up so I am not concerned here..is actually bullish and tells us this minor 5 waves coming is going to be a stretch!

Should only kick off in August...IMO!Earning season in July and should keep her up....

 

US also in for its wave IV so could be the Iraq situation that escalates...next year when this bull ends with primary V the rising interest rates can get it started as the Fed announced!

This can put you on the road to success (if you are not already there)  ....that Caldaro trade only the waves and is a legend in this field...boy are we in for a primary IV down...and if apply the sitting tight rule one's account should get a big boost!

 

These Elliott waves are now my main indicator apart from signals (candle's, moving averages, bollingerbands, crosses etc), MACD and seasonal trends!

 

You must know and not guess the market direction!

I agree, my main system is trend based and that works OK and delivers a profit. On the IG platform I am trying to work out ways of enhancing the system. some of the things I am involved with now seem to show promise but I am still trying to refine it a bit and gain trust in new ways of doing things. I am not quite a convert to waves as some of it still adds to my already confused state, but the Mud is getting clearer.

Are there any people on the group that use the DIRO system as a JSE live feed program. I have made a new indicator with the help of the person that wrote the DIRO program that is almost ready (will Finnish it over the weekend). The indicator shows what I could call pressure, so it looks at the difference between the J200 and J203 feeds, converts this to percentage and draws a Histogram, what is interesting about this is you are able to see the approach of the bottom of the downward pressure showing the turn coming up 10 minutes before the turn actually happens. 

 

If anyone is using the DIRO system I can post the changes you need to make and the formula on the group. It is a variation of the Difference of two symbols indicator.

Ta, I am looking at how I normally work this out and at the graphs you have done, the outcomes are close for each but I am starting to understand the way you pick the waves, my calculations show the turn 100 points lower.

Sorry, just to correct myself if you are following the wave counts I posted earlier, so we are in intermediate 5 from major 5 from III, that should divide into 5 minors so currently this is minute 2 down from minor 1 up...not micro!

Just a breath..this micro 2 down should soon be over....the 21 daily should provide support!
