I'm still a bit lost with EW's. Don't seem to know which wave we're in. Getting a little seasick at times...

But I'll keep learning! Keep the posts coming!

K

Ok, so we just saw a 200 drop in 30 minutes..why is that??

This is what Caldaro uses to describe the names of the waves within..starting with the largest called cycle (bull/bear) going down to tiniest pico waves!

Cycle

Primary

Major

Intermediate

Minor

Minute

Micro

Nano

Pico

So applying that to what we just saw a micro wave concluded with 5 nano's, 5 micro waves will again make the first minute wave of 5 for this minor 5 last wave up to conclude the intermediate 5, major 5 from primary III!

Graph attached...

US busy with its final C leg down (A,B and C) as per Elliott that follows the correction pattern within the bigger trend...this being the bullmarket that is still intact!

Accumulated that 38.2% retrace on the low of the dip - this be such a mathematically perceptive market, but otherwise fundamentally insane.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Thanks K but think V is the EW master here!

Always followed Caldaro and his wave counts but never really applied it to our market up until now...and it makes so much sense, aim is to perfect ones strategy as that is the holy grail of trading! B)

Problem with the dip, is that you never know how "diep" the dip is..

Except A and V and a couple of other EW masters...  :)

When the price are above the 89SMA the trend is normally up and visa versa. After

the price crosses the 89SMA it tends to pullback to the 21EMA before it carry on its

direction if it is a trend direction change otherwise it tend to test the 89SMA again and

then it runs over and across the 89SMA till it finds direction and then it pulls back to

the 21EMA before proceeding on its path.

Is based upon a 4 hour macd rule...works for me..especially these crosses!

Hi

You use MA setting of 89, may I ask what is the reason for that number.

Downtrend line breached and got our first 15min bullish cross, longs looking good!

Should be a simple 5 minute waves up from here until the top (new high) and primary III high...!

If I may ask a question. On Thurs Vertebrae called the futures top at 46490. His words 'Sell everything. We are at the top'. And this seemed spot on as the market dropped to the 45350 level. Now a week later after the market is once again rising the call is that it is now on its way to 47000.

So is it that the original top call was just an interim one or is it just another wave that has appeared?

Not wanting to sound sceptical but from the view of a dommy it so often seems that the waves just keep on coming until at some stage they may prove to be correct.

So it was not the top but just an interim one and market on way to the actual/possible top of 47000??

I can just smell another request for a date coming from V, but this is far to juicy to let go by. This wave thing is one of the most interesting things I have come across in a while. I just cant make it work, I may be be a little dim and not have the brains to figure it out. If I look at it all the start point of the wave seems to be the key, the question I have is where do you start, when one wave does not fit just start another one further back. If I look at this from a different point of view and use the high and low points of the market, connecting the dots gives you a channel. If you are currently at the bottom of the channel the only place to go if there is no breakout is the top of the channel, there may be a couple of bumps on the way but eventually you will get there. I have to give credit that sometimes the WAVE fellows get this perfect (the turn yesterday as an example was absolute perfection), is that because they look at the chart and get it right or because the chart is redone every day to see if the pattern fits the prediction. Or is it just because they look at the charts every day and have a relay good feel for the market.

So maybe I get another date out of this with V, but a busted watch is right at leased twice a day
