So hoped that it was not going to be one of those Monday moves....nice push up and then this gradual return to where we started. Well, the market don't care about what I hope for or not....do not let your hope overshadow what is actually happening....

With all the bad news floating around it seems that someone has loaded a machine gun full of all the bad bullets, it is just a question of who will pull the trigger. All the big markets seems to now be in sync at the very top of the charts, in all the other cases the US was lagging behind. So will we put the machine gun away and ignore the problems as we have been doing for the past 3 months or does someone  pull the trigger on this lot.

If the last 3 months are anything to go by the world will probably ignore it and take this all higher, no matter which way it goes it is time to S&*(t or get off the pot.

Will shoot ZAR up to R11 potentially and you should then factor in what will happen to the ZAR hedged stocks.

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

Just reading an article about South Africa's potential downgrade by Fitch and S&P. What effect will this have on the Alsi? Will foreign fund managers have to withdraw funds etc?

Please be patient, we have another problem.

We do have these problems more and more, it helps to keep things in our control.

We do not have any excuse, and we don't offer one.

Am I the only one that has noticed that the main board and safex has become disjointed, the futures and the real shares do not share the same dayly ranges and the reported dayly changes are smaller than the actual changes.

Looks like wave B up then, at the moment. Would Wave C down extend that far down necessarily?

The 1st question I have is At what stage is an extension negated?

When that is sorted then there are probabilities on retracement of wave order for type

OK this type is ongoing developing or oingy boingy...

I suppose Elliott never saw such a thing.

Regarding the R80 billion.

Open call interest of ~17 000 contracts between 45 800 and 46 000. Total expose (at R10/contract) is ~R7.8Billion.

Assuming a 300 point spike, this comes to a potential loss of "only" R51 Million.

Still, enough open interest at those levels to cause panic. The 17 000 is more than half the daily volume.

Ben maybe you right...But I think call options is different to 40 futures...Options could be taken out with any market  maker and not safex,so it will not be included in open interests!!

Yesterdays action as with the last 10 days clearly shows market is being held on a very tight secure leash!!

It has to explode soon...Maybe that 1000 point up is here upon us very soon and that short squeeze will juts escalate the ride up!!
