With this mornings new low the positive divergence (60min) is just stronger so should see a good bounce today (will add shorts)...I reckon back to 44600ish on TOP40F!

But don't be fooled by this dead cat bounce, last week's strong bearish reversal candle is dictating the trend now, and it is down!

Ralph Acampora the godfather of all TA's said he has a sick feeling of the indexes now and a stealth bear cycle has already begun!

ALSI suckered a lot of shorts again, myself included. Now back to hoping for a pullback and then being so glad you back in green that you sell and then miss out on profits.

And as I  write this see what BIL and Alsi is now doing!!

Yes BIL very close to its low for the day in London...local line helped by the ZAR

I am...and all that I am trying to say (which you fail to understand) is that it won't be BIL and AGL taking the ALSI higher here...

Agree with you, HDB. If the Northern hemisphere indexes start to climb, it will drag ALSI kicking and screaming up with it!

But BIL down and AGL barely up...so you are making money to be long ALSI...but for the wrong reason...which is what I am trying to say...ZAR bailing you out here so far...

Zero I don't think you understand what I meant....

1.I am a day alsi trader.

2.. I only worry about what AGL and BIL will do today.

3.. I compare resource prices as at 8am this morning with resource prices from close Friday 5pm

4. The future of iron ore has no effect on my strategy as that is already built into the price. Iam only worried what happens today to respurces and the ALSI

5. If BIL goes up, the correlation  of AGL to the US 10yr etc dos not effect me the least bit as I feel BIL will take AGL with it up for the day!!!

For some reason I do not see the LIKE button / link anymore. So: LIKE

:)

For all the IG users out there, if you are struggling to get accurate levels on the charts because of after hours trading... there is a solution....:

Don't use the Chart icon, but rather click on ProRealtime charts.

Once it opens, go to "Options". The very last item on the drop-down list is "Set time zone and trading hours"...

Set trading hours to 09:00 to 17:00, and clear the tickbox that says "Display weekend data"

Bob's your uncle!

From your perspective, Lekkerry is faceless and to a degree nameless, so any opinions expressed are just that, opinions from someone on the Internet  :D

Lots of room for the downside.

Downside potential seems greater.

Also, I have a feeling there is a stronger correlation between the AGL share price and US 10yr than AGL and the nickle price?
