It looks to me like the bulls pockets might get picked today, I'm holding my shorts

Don't think so...Watch resource shares holding market up or sideways!!

What was that massive down spike, with a low of 43 424 on IGM. A glitch??

Finished at 44170 so monday we should see us sometime touching the 44450 I just dont know if we touch 43950 again or we go for it off the bat after opening? There was a big bounce on the SP500 on the dip buying so little bit weary for the next few days. It could easily translate to a new high on the SP500 and take us to 44800 Tuesday/Wednesday again before the next leg down to 42950 and thereafter we take out 45200 end of 30 May/2nd June. Just some thoughts..Comments and dissections welcome!

The usual GB. Be long and short.....took out a small long Friday afternoon.,,,its in the money, as are my 3 short positions I am holding onto. Liquidated 1 short I had at about break even. It was just too low.

It is the 5th wave that started Friday pm. To be correct...

The 5th wave of the 5th wave of the 5th wave has just begun

This is a special event. It is a gift from the market

and we have Mssrs Elliott and Fibonacci and their hard working followers to thank

Unfortunately this awesome beacon has a restricted existence.

And I know all about it, because I put in the time and effort to find out for myself.

Everyone wants your money, and so you think you don't even have to try.
Get this  - I don't want anyone's money for what I think I know -
I just want genuine people to break free and to do it for themselves
And screw the myriad of con artists operating like like cockroaches in gangs
They want to entice you into their pockets - make you feel incompetent without them
They want to keep you in chains so that you will become dependent on them
They will steer you left and right but never to the place where you will become free
They will double down on posting when someone genuine appears on their turf, so as
to obscure them and regain the limelight

You want to chase numbers that are never explained
You want to trust in others because you dont have a clue
Then you are the meat. potatoes and gravy for an entire industry of crows and vultures
And until you put in the effort to break free, you never will

Good luck and remember the 18th

Africa will never be regarded as adult until all of its organisations stop admiring and protecting criminal dictators.

MSM et al presents (sponsored) opinion as fact and seeks to indoctrinate. Journalists without ethics proliferate in a swamp of filthy lucre (BBC inclusive).

In response to decades of racism by fearful minority whites called apartheid there will be an eternity of racism by revengeful majority blacks called all kinds of excuses.

Corruption is not yet compulsory but it may as well be - Aggressive africanization uses the racist Employment Equity Act as a club.

Too many humans are too busy copulating to bother about the irresponsible, unsustainable and progressively catastrophic population explosion.

Whilst humanity prevails so will evil. Evil will survive and thrive through sophisticated indoctrination and other conscience-suppressing disguises.

Desmond Tutu has been praying for the downfall of the ANC since 2011. Clearly he needs some assistance with such a difficult and worthy task..

Cockroaches still lurk on sharechat because it is prime real estate for their con artistry, duping and grand theft.

The Staples vs. Discretionary ratio has been a leading indicator of "corrections/crashes" in the past.  But, as humans we will always think: "This time it is different".  I guess we'll find out in the near future.

Very interesting...charts confirm what I have been suspecting for the last week or so...there seems to be rotation back to defensives and high quality names.

ALSI pierced up through the daily bollinger band and the channel top. History repeats itself - go and have a look at how we started the "mini correction" back in Jan. Same style.

Tomorrow will be decision time for bulls. Save the ship or jump ship. If the green and blue lines go then bombs away!

I can see the valid case for a up move on monday but UN chief describing a very bad state of affairs in Ukraine. So will rather short rallies and hope for a good short entry at 44400.

Thanks.  So I don't have to  adjust the time frame of CCI or the 3 SMA's for CFD's?

Thought I'd spare you HDB.
Any time frame, longer time frames are less risky.

Thanks Jakes...

But remember the longer the timeframe, the fewer trades the system will show up ( with  lesser risk)

So for examples..

if you using 5  min chart on alsi, the system may give you 6 trade opportunities for the day... but only 4 may be really profitable, one may breakeven and one may be a loss...

If you use say a daily timeframe, system may show one trade in a week for the share you following....and it may be w winning trade...so one out of 1 winner!!

So therefore its on your risk appetite which time frame you use!!

Lonmin Long - Who fancies to venture the entry price?

Support must be about 36.30 (low for last year), will it go there?

I am jumping in boots an ol it it goes there, this is a good stick under your mattress stock.

HDB, if one applies your method on CFD's, what time frame would one use?
