Speaking to me P? For me, on 2 minute chart, watch for deep sharp drop/s followed by a hammer (duhh), especially near or just under easily identifiable support area. Then decide if you are higher or lower risk trader. If higher, open the long on completion of the hammer. If you are lower risk trader wait for next few 2 min periods. ALSI often rises after hammer then quickly declines back to the base of the hammer at which point it then starts its lift off...no guarantees though. See this often.

Got filled @ an average price of 44270.

Still holding 5 short contracts.

Decision time.

ok guys....I was out and missed the first long at around 12.45pm!!

 

It came back now to retest the zero line and bouced off it!!

No real momentum but perfect position to go long again!!

My gut feel ( not a good indicator ) tells me the bulls are laying a trap. I'm adding 1 more hedging long here.

Share your view. Would rather hold onto shorts and open a long in case they spring that trap, especially during 14h00 to 15h30 and just after 17h30 if you are on IG platform.

Just another view, ALSI has come down quite a bit since yesterday. Its Friday as well. Loading up on shorts this afternoon might get you caught in A's "FASC" - (Friday Afternoon Short Covering) which is okay if you can ride things up for a few 100 points if it happens. Alternatively wait for FASC then get in at a higher level....if FASC happens.

 

Have paid plenty of school fees shorting at lows, especially after a big drop. If this is the trend turn maybe think about selling the rallies.  

 

Use it, lose it. I have no idea what will happen this afternoon but I am extra cautious of going into new shorts after big drops on Fridays without a solid reason to do so.

Think you just had a good entry point of 44110, but it went down again, but what the hell go for it. Gonna loose out to wait until end of day.Sorry only opinion and do not trade purely on what i said

With on that, will see what it will do with 44000, if that breaks lost op pain for the bulls.

For those trading off investing.com charts for TOP40F, I have called them to reinstall the weekly timeframe and also check why we dont have live pricing!
