Possible but not probable (following SPX behaviour) seeing 44360 for 50% fib retrace expecting choppy

You guys still talking short i am planning my longs.Too much short talk when we start talking long then only i will short.New rule trade opposite to what is expected.Blah blah just a merlot speaking.

I would love to know how well the asli has done against the Dow this year. I'm at the point of capitulation so there must be others out there feeling the same way. Past experience says the point at which I'm kicking the dog is the point at which the market turns. But I dunno anymore.

The crowded short crowd from 44000 is now dispersed
Just got back from a night out. Its always such a nice or bad surprise when you open your lucky packet.
Thankfully, I wasn't able to watch my screen and even more so for no stop loss being in place. The daily CCI has only been seen at today's levels twice (exc,today) since July 2009.
Ja, ja I know NPN is what made today's difference etc, but those events are outliers..possibly destructive, we will see.
Reversion to the mean is what ultimately occurs in the long run. Think I will just ride with this extraordinary situation...and statistically speaking, wait for an extraordinary return.
Not saying its a top by any means, just saying some folks are making some serious and unexpected money at the moment and will very possibly be unable to resist the urge to bank those long profits.

I've spoken to Mr. Argento:
This can be seen as part of the blow-off we've been waiting for. It aligns with what V is saying in his wave counts as well. Dailies have pierced the top of the bollinger band and is very close to the top of the channel/wedge (coming in around 45100-ish). The negative divergences have been there for a few months now but they are growing more and more pronounced. The small caps in the US (Russel) is taking a hammering which should be early warning signs. We (ALSI) are lagging at the moment but when we turn bears should be smiling.
A is going to add shorts tomorrow as well. I will do the same in the 44800 - 45100 area, should the market move there.

Even with all the negative divergences out there I still get the feeling that there has to be a last shake-out of some bears.
That 44800 target might yet be reached with a break above 44440...

Rem: each little wave will be of the a-b-c type. Midspan today is close to 44600. We are in 'a' of the pattern (3 of 3 up, 4 down and 5 up). Timing risk is to the nearside (could take longer and there could be a further extension)

bear catcher, if over exposed on the shorts and fear the worst consider opening a hedge..its messy, personally i try avoid hedges but better than exiting a large position at default loss
