When under pressure we forget how quickly sentiment and this thing called ALSI can turn and that's when Mhlato's Rule comes into play, "The market always proves you wrong, just before it proves you right".....

Short of 44525 have just turned green for 14 points on ig , haha should i take profit???

If pound goes back towards R18 and if NPN goes back to its high of R1350 and if CFR pays another special divi of R10, anything can happen...maybe 46000 and beyond!!

Another two weeks of this, then sell in May and go away is upon the ALSI. 

 

Any clever folk here concur? My turning point was 442## (J200), that ship has sailed, so now I am eyeing 447## as a top, for a drop of almost 4000 points by mid-Jun / beginning July.

 

As it stands, the risk is on the shorts atm.

See Polly's comment on NPN below, now up over 8% today.

For those who didn't see it NPN is up today purely because of great quarterly results out of 10 cent. See link  http://www.fin24.com...ls-JSE-20140514

 

If this gets repeated every quarter our ALSI will become a 1 trick pony......

Dallas watch the bottom boot..let it get filled..( green) .. once she moves out of the boot, watch if she goes back to fill another boot..Idf she does she will fall below  -100 again and you hold onto your shorts..However if she moves up from -100 from the first boot more towards 0 then get out!!

 

Ok I forgo0t to add that im throwing another joker in the pack!!  I also use the 34ema in my chart...If the price falls towards the 34ema ill hold to my short...34ema will then provide lots of support...Ifprice falls below 34ema then ride the short...if support holds at 34ema. then consider taking your profit!!

 

Right now price is about 20 points from 34ema!!

But you must consider this first...

 

This is reason I use the 204 day moving average to show me the trend.. Trend is up right?

 

So if trend is up and system shows a short, it will be a quick in and out trade unlike the longs where if the trend is up you could make a handful!!  So if you shorting, make sure you ready to get out when she turns to maybe -100 after going into green ( pullback for long actually)!! if it continues in green for long then hold as this couold be a trend changer for day but highly unlikely!

 

So what im saying is iof trend is up and cci falls below 0 ,  you more than likely will be in for a very quick trade!!
