At the current valuation I'm more than happy with 30%-40% HEPS

Looking fwd to seeing the coomplete numbers.

I do own ELI (got some at R2.16 VWAP) but I am still worried about their cash management. I do hope to see an improvement.. If not, ELI can increase earnings by 200% the share price wont go far..

Do not try and bend the market. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. Then you'll see, that it is not the market that bends, it is only yourself.

heads up SENS(Trading Statement) on ELI...

Shareholders are advised that Ellies expects that its earnings per share and headline
earnings per share for the year ended 30 April 2013 will be between 30% and 40%
higher compared to the earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year
ended 30 April 2012.

As Perreby says there is a genuine concern over their financial oversight. For instance they paid a divi last year while having a large overdraft....?

Had a trading statement been released by now we would all know if it was a buy more or get out.

I'm sitting tight till results, also not buying at these levels (above R9).

Hope it helps. Cheers.

I agree with soutie, if the price drops to around 8.50 i will increase my holding.

Gamma whats your take on Ellies? Added some due to the faith on this forum(don't want to miss the train like I did with CML!!), as Perry said their not very good with cashflow but otherwise the business as a whole, looks good.. financials nice as well but run too hard perhaps past year?

I have warned against this one being overpriced before..

My main issue is the management of their cash.. They dont seem very good at cash flow management

Same thing happened from 12 to 22 April, I had to go against my strategy and remove my stop loss, It would have triggered but I knew it would came back quickly, and so it did, I don't think there is anything serious behind this sell-off.
