With Vodacom releasing their results on 18 May... Anyone going to put a trade in based on expected results?

Putting a short order in tomorrow doesnt seem like a bad idea.

Hi Pilotpilot

I see you have changed your gearing from 5 to 6? Any reasons?

Do you only  trade based on Chart Analysis? Or how do you pick your shares? Randomly?

Thanks

:D Definitely not randomly. I have 3 main indicators that has to change at the same time. I have 4 other indicators that has to be on the right side of a certain point and 3 other indicators to determine the strength of the new trend.

It's all done with Chart Analysis, and on the closing price of the day.

As a base I use 5 gearing, but it can go up to 7. Between 3-7 is where I prefer to have the gearing for maximum exposure, with some leeway for changes.

Re LHC, this is what you are looking at. Broke below the trendline support and is racing towards R35. Might see a flush towards R34 even. Volatility is spiking and volume yesterday was very high - today's volume is in line with the average volume traded and we are only 90min into the trading

attachicon.gifLHC_daily.PNGday!

tx AJS, makes me feel a little better, ill look to top up AGAIN then at the 3400 levels.

News at 15:18 is that a Mr Yuan has been appointed as an additional director of SGL, after which the share immediately plummeted!!

Coincidence or am i missing something here???

Maybe the union issue is not having the effect we think....
