With Vodacom releasing their results on 18 May... Anyone going to put a trade in based on expected results? 

Putting a short order in tomorrow doesnt seem like a bad idea.

The way it is trading now my guess would be something on the negative side. Also went short. PFG came down from 196 to +- 180 also results day on monday, went long, hoping to go back to 196.

Thanks Delta......I totally agree its a quality company.  (I personally feel it is the leader in the industry (relative to LHC and NTC), especially with 65% earnings offshore (in high margin markets) and new beds being added (and on the acquisition trail)..TP of R128.50/R130 is mine (will just hold).  In some ways, if a dip on Thursday (21st), I will just add more (and hopefully a decent dividend increase to pay for my interest charges)....

Topped up at R112.70.....feeling good about it:)

 

But will only make decision to add or hold once those full set of results are out (and what their forecasts are), come next week 21st May.....

Still think they are leader in the hospital groups...

Hi Gents

 

Attached is tommorrow's share trades.

 

There are 6 new long trades and 3 new Short trades tommorrow. Seems the market could be turning.

The pick of the trades is a long on BAT wich was picked on Monday but needed to fight off some bears first to come out on top yesterday.

 

Of the traded shares most are doing well, especially EXX wich has done 9% for the week. SPP is still a concern and was the worst pick for the week so far. I dropped the exit price and hope to stop the bleeding tommorrow.

 

The portfolio is doing well with 6.62% (R13200) for the week so far, trading costs included. I am hoping for 8% in the first week and then 10-20% per week, from next week. Some trends last 3 weeks +, so hopefully some of this weeks shares will do well next week.

Damn, closed BAT long this morning because it didn't close above R88-95 last night. Now its running like a demon!
