Trying to catch a falling knife with CPL. Results out this or next week and they going to be good. Question is, how low will it go before it turns?.....

Damn, getting the stops right has been my biggest struggle over the past year...I mean, where does one place it?

Too tight, and the volatility clips it, too far and if it strikes - the loss is already crippling. I've tried placing it 1% behind key support lines, and got punished this last week on both APN and WHL.

bphartell-not today unfortunately but soon enough..keeping costs averaged to current trading price is getting tough..each purchase brings down average cost and drives up exposure

Hmm, APN stops hit at 248 before I could even log on to see what is going on.

20% of account gone in 2 days.

Back to the drawing board with me, this cycle always ends up happening when I "go looking for action" rather than trading clear cut opportunities.

The biggest joke is that it will probably fly back up and hold 250+ by close of the day.

Damn it. 

Tell me about it; got stopped out by spikes from 3 of my positions! Grrr! But also had a few orders for my LT CFD portfolio filled; all fully hedged by being short on the ALSI.
