Anyone got any scoops on ABIL? There seems to be a bit of anticipation on this rights issue...

ABL looks tempting at this levels!

Thanks. Although having a TP limit on every trade, I battle to let my profits run and have found setting the right target just as problematic, but preferable. James Magliolio I think says in one of his books the lowest of the day before yesterday, but the problem of slippage and "stop hunters" remain, especially when trading for the longer term.

yes. i can empathize. sometimes have the same problem with regards to profit taking especially on longer term trades that have continued momentum but increased volatility...so don't feel alone :)

Anyones take on VOD?

Its doing nothing except for costing me interest.

The move up on VOD since the 22nd has been on declining volumes.  So I don't know... Not touching it now.  Just my rookie opinion :)

Delta, how does one manage your trailing stops? Every time I try it, I get stopped out shortly after, usually much too soon! Do you have a specific set of criteria/percentages?

trailing stop on VOD 115.75, APN 275.00, DSY 83.50

Reduced exposure on DSY at 85.  Letting the rest run with stop below previous day's low.

not an encouraging start.  exactly the opposite of what I was expecting.  If you look at the property listings over the past 24 months

they tend to make a very brisk start. not this one

Very nice REIT, unless you think the Rand will strengthen over the years. (Not bloody likely mate).

The chart is of course still 100% applicable, as there was merely a one for one spin off (1xRIN for 1XRPL)

This one and NEPI are probably the superior listed property stocks. Inward listing is welcomed for RPL.

So don't write it off HB. You may not have to wait long for 800 +

Yeah, I'm hoping for a bounce after the listing.  Not too many buyers at present, but early days still.
