Anyone with a view on Shoprite?  Just touching long term horizontal resistance line again..  Going short for a possible R10 downside

Been long since it broke above R165 convincingly

Retail figures been good news lately.

My stop firmly in the money but still think there's more upside to come.

ABL in freefall...who's buying? :P

Abil is holding quite well.  A lot of the bad news is priced in.

all true..revising short term TP to 85 and will place tight stop thereafter, carrying quite large exposure on this trade.

Thank you for your input ZeroHedge,

Is it common that a share wont perform when some traders consider it expensive? During August DSY was 25% more expensive than currently with similar volume. What is your expectation wrt retracing considering the 26 August till 8 October movement

There goes ABL! They are now asking for more money from the rights offer!  :P

I read an advert on the back of a bus..! Went somtin' like dis.

Foreign nationals do you know you can borrow up to R20,000.00 with up to 36 mths to pay..... T.&C.'s apply

Now if that is not risky then I'll stuff drugs up my arse & fly to Sydney.....!

Anyone have an opinion on a small short on NTC?

In at 25.50, target 24.31.

And out at 24.90 - getting too nervous on this one and I need to reduce total exposure

For the DSY bulls...afraid I have some bad news. Share is crowded long, very expensive at 125 percent price to EV and their are some question marks around quality of life business in SA, aggressive use of reinsurance to help cash flow and quality of health business in UK. Expect this one to underperform market until Q1 2014

Also heavily exposed and aiming for R86 TP. Will give it another week, and if it doesn't get there, will sell out some of the overexposure at a loss.

Ah Zerohedge. Always so technical. Like you were with WHL a month ago? haha and look how that turned out! DSY will be fine till R88.

Tough one...great company and management team that somehow always deliver and surprise to upside. I am also tempted but problem is that they are up against a relatively easy base over this very important Xmas trading period. Go and have a look what they said in the Jan 2013 sales update. It underwhelmed the market and share sold off heavily. So come Jan 2014 they may just blow market away cause of the easier comp. Also foreign investors are underweight SA and with taper delay they are looking to buy SA Inc and MPC is a favourite. So expect this one to grind higher. Guess what I am trying to say this is very dangerous short!

DSY is just beein lazy now at the 83 level

yes DSY/APN..really sluggish hovering around current prices, need a catalyst ie. a brief market rally to drag them up
