My long got stopped out and still looks weak from what I'm seeing. Going to wait till 460-465 now.

I think he meant that covering was forcing a second position of the same stock if your broker allows it either in the same account or another account in the OPPOSITE trend/position....  also called hedging...

The Feds decision not to taper was counter to what the market was expecting. No taper means more easy money flooding the emerging markets (and everywhere else), most of which move into stocks, pushing up prices.
 
Covering - when you short sell a stock and the market rallys you need to cover the position (ie buy it back)

Don't really know how to approach this breakout from here, having missed the bus  :huh:

same issue i have, although some is still climbing i figure rather to be safe - it looks like a gamble getting in for an extra % or so, what do we expect for tomorrow considering today's behavior in general, should it increase or retrace?
