I have had that before as well, but I assume that was quite a while back.....when the share was on a 30 something PE.  Now at 52 PE and having run 22% in the month of May and looking at the charts (with some negative diverange on the RSI) across daily, weekly and monthly - still holding my short.

 

A break above R742 is my SL... :rolleyes:

 

I burnt my fingers with NPN trying to short it 2 years back. Not really a share to short.

swapped ANG short for GRT long

R29.00  major support broken intraday!! But bet it will close above that today or else shes going down down..

What is happening to FSR?? Really tanking today and not sure if it will drop further.

Seems like redistributionand sector rotation  from banks, retailers and indi in to resources has started..... :rolleyes:

Trade Ideas

 

  1. Gap Trade: Long ANG R177, stock closed R4.11 higher in the US. The stronger spot gold price and the weaker rand should support the stock higher.

 

  1. Short: TBS above R292, stock came out with worse than expected trading results. Deutche Bank this morning downgraded TBS to a hold target price of R280.

Got out at 11300. Will buy in again when drop occurs to 10800

Looking at tfg(Foshini) price action today, seems like some easy money to be made here today going long at current ( R108.50)

Interesting. But I think maybe it'll go sideways, maybe bouncing along the 700 mark in the short term, before it continues climbing above 750.

Orca waited patiently for my revenge trade!! Our  indi and financilal results out last 2 weeks nothing to shout about. All these overpriced shares MUST fall!!!

Trade Ideas

 

  1. Day Trade: Long ANG off R160, stock closed R4.87 higher in the US, spot gold price is up 1.22% this morning braking the R1400 resistance level.

 

  1. Range Trade: Long MTN at R175 with a stop loss, stock has shown support at these levels.
