Pretty good fight back from VOD a close above R112 would bode well for next week.

Seeing as I'm long

Good weekend to all.

Cheers.

Those shorters who shorted TFG and TRU on Monday are burning their backsides!!

What a short squeeze today..

TFG nearly one million shares already traded in 2 hours!!

TFG pulled back slightly in the last hour. do you know what kind of results we can expect on wed? If im not mistaken most retailers have done rather well in earnings me thinks.

Trade Ideas

  1. Long: ABL off R17, stock has been hugely oversold recently, and numerous investment houses have raised its consensus to a buy with 12 month target prices of between R26.50 and R32.50.
  2. Short: Massmart above R200, stock is trading at a P/E of 30.8 and with its parent company Wallmart down 7% in the US since last week, we are shorters with a target price of R190.

alsi train departing south.... gold train departing north..... if you at the station decide quick..... massive reversal of global positions currently on

thats why they say sell in May.... sell now whilst you have the chance

investec released their results which are the best in three years, but they also went down? thats just weird, if i had more,

resource stocks building up nicely for some shorts..

and AGL you are number one.. :)

Data coming through from China, PMI numbers below 50 indicating the economy contracting slightly more than previous month.

BIL down 1% in OZ and US, looks good for a short scalp today as we play catch up.

Wow @ LEW, wish I had seen the morning star!

SUI got some nice support at R94, also higher low than yesterday. Change in direction?

@ Gspot, also holding VOD up to R122.45, just below resistance

Glad I held onto VOD, still think the momentum is behind them esp with that decent dividend.....and supported with good volumes.

@HDB - Totally agree, going to short those resources soon.

Just in line with the broader market being down....also it has had a nice recover from R104 lows..

Support at R108.50 level - it should hold with a decent dividend (well I hope so, as I am still holding).
