I am holding my ITU for a while now - expecting a nice push (unless US hikes rates next month  :D )

Got my short trades, AGL @ R187-67 and BIL R264-70

Closing these 2 shorts. AGL @ R184-00 and BIL R264-50. Both still showing upward movement. Going to wait for the next bear trigger.

its good news for us shorts.... Sorry Walter.

Thanks, enjoy the short.

Closed my short on VOD as well (at a loss) this morning, thought it was going to run on the breakout.

Paying some school fees today.

what are the views on TRU?

Maybe a short term downtrend, but TRU is still very Bullish. I wouldn't short it though.

Yeah, correct it is. But the growth momentum seems to have slowed with many guys cashing in on profits on Friday. Many people have a target of R420 for the share...

profit taking from 400-404..probably positions lower down on glaxo news(27000-27400) price should stabilize within a tight channel before slowly grinding onward..and hopefully upwards

woolies looking better if we see a end of day close 9200+

add to last post.......in current circumstances banking 3% seems to be the best strategy but this then increases risk and also trading costs.

My point with APN is that rarely will movement be in one single direction.......and as you stated profit taking also as people see market/share dip or they arrive at their TP.  APN usually a strong and defensive share but all 'norms' seem to be out of the window in current conditions.  Am holding long, will 'probably' offload 50% circa 41000.  Usually I look to hold for 2-6 weeks and aim at a trend and profit of 6-10%.
