Britain’s biggest drugmaker will remain a 6.2% shareholder in Aspen and has undertaken not to sell any more shares in the South African group for 180 days.
GSK said on Friday it had sold 28.2-million Aspen shares at R372 each, compared to Thursday’s closing price of 406.5.
The sale was handled by Citi and UBS.
In November 2013, GSK sold another similar sized tranche of Aspen stock for R250 a share.
Taken from a B/Day article 2wks back. If anything it's a short at present with target of about R346 No spare cash to take the trade just my humble opinion....
yup..goddam GSK! whenever i trade aspen i'm either sweating blood or losing blood you may be correct in your short view soutie..headwinds strongly against APN currently

Well, APN has now been my biggest blunder of the year. Wiped out a fair chunk of this year's profits.

thks BlythZ, APN trade is not going to be easy...those in playing bigger numbers apply strict risk management as their is a possibility of further weakness with sentiment negative

i have order to add on APN 37000..might not trade down to that but that's where my order will remain due to buying a little higher up. 37000-37500 would be an excellent entry point if managing your risk correctly(one-third of your final pos size on entry)
I guess your order was filled, i saw your initial post for the long order , last week i think and was wondering will APN get to 370? Well, here we are APN at 367.41. You are really good at this Delta, hats off

Your thinking behind this? Target?
Basically the sluggish economy, if the rand strengthens will dent their UK earnings. Plus I have a client who is in the packaging business who just closed his doors..!
He did mention to me NPK have closed non profit making business in Free State & their Cape "tech hub" is not performing due to BEE coupled with skills shortage.
Haven't took a major shot at it cos I reckon it will drift sideways till news comes out either trading statement or results whichever but I reckon down it will go.
My trading in & out days didn't come out as planned so I'm adopting a short & hold system now working well so far......to be continued.....cheers.
Oh no target in mind either.....
Anyone need a heads up...!

Anyone thinking taking a long position in Zeder is worth it? Results out this week... Target would be 830c
liquidity is a concern..suppose volumes will be supportive with results, still something(liquidity) to be mindful of
