Crowe...nonfarm payroll(US) should provide some support for gold if below expectation but whether it translates into a share price gain on SGL is the question. price from what i can see is in limbo with next major support around 2400 and resistance now becoming 3000(numbers rounded off)  we'll probably see continued weakness in ADR's until actual data becomes available(US time) US$ still very strong not helping.

overall this has become a difficult trade with fundamental news steering price, honestly was not expecting the sell down we've seen.

will probably close out this morning manually on a drop below 2700..apologies to anyone who got the short end of this bad call

Crowe..i would be cautious with adding just yet as i see a continued sell down on NYSE.  no fixed technical target placed on this trade(off the cuff-would be happy closing 2980). as you probably aware there is div coming up 3/16/15. spot gold battling to hold 1200+- and US dollar strong puts us at the risky end of this.

tx Delta. you think we going to still much more of a fall here? Maybe worth closing tom and evaluate agin next week?

@zombii-not telling :P  but to give you an idea....sold off all my properties(fixed) in 2009 - fully invested in equities/derivatives since 2010.  50% in physical shares and 50% in geared instruments.

exposure relative to your capital base is "key" in this business.  i generally steer away from complicated/advanced methodologies, keeping my investing/trading as vanilla based as possible.

a bold move but feasible considering there's no news that i'm aware of pushing the price @least on a intra view.  very aggressive trade Reckless, all the best and thanks for contributing here(takes b@lls to make a trade like that and then post it publicly)

Hi Delta

Have a tight stop in place so not going b@lls to wall on this one.

Hopefully this is the momentum to get the share price through that R219.80 resistance level (on the daily).......and that dividend is really juicy!!
